1st body

One of the biggest differences between the two films is there backgrounds and where they took place. Mel Gibson’s Hamlet takes place in what looks like Mid Evil times. Giving the film a more barbaric feel. Where as in Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet, Act 1 scene 2 takes place in more modern times, it looks like the film was shot in a palace which a much more formal setting because it takes place during what seems to be a wedding. This gives Kenneth Branagh’s film a much more modern higher calss feel versus Mel Gibson’s mid evil Hamlet.
